My IELTS score for 2 years ago after a week of studying. The listening section is somewhat hard because you might sometimes get a headset that isn't very loud.

Agreed. All those langauges are good but they require time to properly dive into. If you are focusing on python development you should fully delve into that. Companies want people who have spikes of deep knowledge in something specific not well rounded people

Big Tech is mostly leetcode grinding, a couple of great projects and referrals. Once you are leetcode knight level you should be able to pass most of those interviews and then after that it depends on your project. Less emphasis on the tech stack itself and more on your input and your problem solving abilities tho they will ask you about the choices on each framework and dependency you use. Python is the best for DSA in my subjective opinion because it is less verbose and has built in libraries and data structures that's what I've always used. It's much much easier but people say learning in Java builds concepts and all but I feel it is overrated. I never bought into that stuff. Python is slightly slower but it doesn't matter unless you are in some competitive coding competition. Most interviews care more about your problem solving abilities and the Big O than anything

Most businesses have to sustain losses atleast for 2 years until they get hang of the volume or margin in their respective market. You cant just open shop and expect customers to start pouring in. It takes time. As for mathematics, its more about what your brain links maths too. Most people involuntarily link maths to hard and gritty concepts so they are out of the game before they even begin. Thats years of conditioning, which takes time to overcome. Its a journey, better you start and become better over a long time

Not with Java. I know Java decently well but I don't know C++ in depth. I never focused on it too much because I felt it'd be more useful for embedded system roles that I wasn't aiming for and in September. Toshiba had a placement drive in my uni. Fat package and great perks but they specifically asked for people who knew C++ in the second round. It's a hardware company so it's understandable there are one of cases like this. Where I got rejected for not knowing C,C++. I remember there was another company that came that specifically asked for people who knew Rust and one for Ruby iirc. It presents a unique opportunity imo. As if you know these niche languages your competition is reduced significantly from the people who don't but you will be learning an entire language just for an edge in a handful of companies.

One of my New Yearโ€™s resolutions was to learn how to make Minecraft mods using Java. Primarily using Fabric at the moment as it's what I saw being the main mod loader at the moment for 1.21.

I do not remember exactly what we discussed in the past, but I have already learned Java in high school.

I already have like 5 completed projects that I plan to publish on GitHub soon, which should help for jobs. Just too lazy to edit it and document everything at the moment. I'll just feed it into chatgpt for that I guess.

My Rust knowledge, however, is not there yet. I learned it primarily for personal projects, and I would struggle in a technical interview, especially since it would be wanted for things like operating systems. My current plan is to first learn AI-related topics, since I have no experience there, before moving on to operating systems.

What is the "minimum" IQ required for someone to reach knight level on leetcode? I have taken some contests but only was able to reach a max of 1600 rating (already finished neetcode150, ~300 Q solved) which is very low. I only have ~90 IQ, wondering if I should keep grinding leetcode
