I'm all for looksmaxxing, but i support how it began, not the extremist version it is right now.

Looksmaxxing was at first doing simple things to improve your looks, and as a means to spread awareness to how important looks are in our society. This is great, self-improvement is amazing and seeking to improve your relationship chances is only optimal.

But then, it gets to the blackpill and to the ideaology of doing "everything" to look better. Guys, It's really not that serious, and i'm saying this as a normal average guy that has plenty of experience with women. I always thought that the the entire looksmax culture that is being pushed around is centered on brainwashing teens like you into believing you're not enough, when you most likely are. YES, looks are important, height is important, your face is very important, but the requirement for living a happy life is way lower than you all expect.

Modern looksmaxing will only make you less confident and stress more. You will find no happiness obsessing over looks, no matter how good you look in the end.

Everyone talks about hypergarmy, but then post threads about the "subhuman friend" at their school having girlfriends and having friends.. but then, if the hypergarmy is so brutal then why can he get a girlfriend and you can't?? Maybe because hypergarmy is a stupid concept.. It's true that modern women have higher standards, but then simply reject modernity and look for natural women that aren't brainwashed by social media.

Of course, I believe that when seeking a partner, looks and attraction is a completely valid concern. For most people it's a natural and important part of any relationship. Of course it's not everything but it's not at all nothing either.

But in the grand scheme of things, love is deeper than just appearance. It's about shared values, feeling of trust, safety, good personality and how someone makes you feel. Eventually, after a few months in a relationship, you'll notice that you love your partner in their natural state more than when they actually put effort. After half a year you'll notice you aren't paying much attention to looks at all, and realise that your partner slowly doesnt care either. After a few years, you understand that the value of your partner never stemmed from their looks but who they are as a person.

The most important values in creating a family are patience, being caring, being kind, being creative and intelligent, being loyal, being good with kids.
