MY ORTHO IS DOING MSE

I've been trying hard to find orthos doing MSE in the EU and I was pretty much settled with having to travel to the UK again to get it. But I just had an appointment with my treating ortho and casually mentioned MSE and he said he's doing it on people. Ofc he gave the usual talk of saying it should only be done when necessary, but I'll keep pushing until he agrees to install it on me. Fuark this is major lifefuel boys, time to get my incel narrow palate expanded, increase my shit IPD and give my zygos more width. Still can't fkin believe it that MSE was right around the corner for me.

You shouldn't get MSE for aesthetics, it's just an added result if any

I'm over 18 and I'm not sure if it will be free. If i do it in my country I have a better chance of it being free though, if I go to the UK it's certain that I have to pay everything.

It increases IPD slightly and improves your zygos, doesn't increase PFL though from what I know

depends on:
-screw length
-expansion speed (ideally slower)
-how many mm's of expansion

best case scenario would be like 2mm

i'm doing mse for zygo width first and foremost, and because it's the first thing i can afford rn

Yea zygos are definitely affected, you need to expand far though. Orthos will try to cuck you into expanding like 6mm only, but you need to go with 1cm+. Have you found an ortho doing MSE btw?

You're from the US or what? It's probably easier to find one there. My ortho told me he's only 1 of 2 doing it in my country. And there's no way of knowing it unless you ask him directly apparently.
