Pretty sure my ortho doesn't care about aesthetics and just wants me out her office as quick as she can. I came in to align my teeth with Invisalign and she gave me Cervical Headgear (See Spoiler Below) to speed up my Invisalign treatment, even though my "overbite" is not bad at all. If I can recall I remember her saying this was not necessary for my case too yet she did not warn me about the potential risks
I'm already 16 years old too, this appliance is typically given to kids 7-14 that don't know it will fuck them over. Could someone verify this appliance would prevent ideal facial aesthetics?
I'm probably gonna lie and say I couldn't sleep at night and it was too uncomfortable or some bullshit, or i could just be upfront and say the reason I don't want to wear it is due to the controversy of the appliance/using camouflage orthodontics to treat a class II bite.
I mean look at this shit its crazy, Id much rather just wait the extra time in with Invisalign than to risk any loss of horizontal development
Will provide updates on my situation and would appreciate thoughts on this/tips for the future.
