My orthodontist doesn't know what an MSE is

I asked some questions about mse and if i need one, and the lady said she had never heard of an mse or any type of pallet expanders that attach to the bone despite doing this work for 30years! Anyways not a big deal and I will be getting an RPE but I still found this to be surprising
