My orthodontist refused to give me a maxillary expander.

Today I went to the orthodontist and asked him to put an upper jaw dilator on me, saying that I think my jaw is narrow and that I would like to close these black tunnels with a smile. To which she replied that everything is fine with you, that all your teeth are perfectly closed. And yet, she told me that if we widen my upper jaw, then my teeth won't close. And the fucking question is how then they put others and their teeth close. I kind of heard that the lower teeth tilt somehow and they close. Even though I don't have huge black tunnels, I still have them and I want a big smile. What should I do, I need it. While I'm in my teens, I just have to do it. Maybe it will help somehow, I used to have braces.
