MY OWN FAMILY MEASURED ME AND LAUGHED AT MY HEIGHT

Around a month ago, my grandparents took a sister and I on a vacation. My cousin came over and he's heavily into this space, might even see this post down the line who knows. We were talking about hammering vs MARPE and orthodontics role in facial growth (I've had MARPE, retainer, braces, and consider myself to be decent looking). The discussion naturally shifted towards height.

I have my flaws (5'7)...

My cousin is years younger than me but has grown to be around 6 feet tall. I told him my height and he didn't believe me. I left it at that but my own sister and grandfather were adamant on measuring because i was "Lying". So, we stood against the wall and measured both heights. My height measured at 5'6.5 (Ruler was hanging off of the ground slightly but to explain this to my family would be futile). After the measurement took place, my sister held my arm as she and every other person in the room laughed in my face. I of course laughed with them, but this was genuinely a nightmare for me and completely ruined the entire rest of the trip for me. JFL at this point...

I can't stress how amazing and awesome it is to look up all the time at people around you. It's totally awesome!
