Living in a shared flat I'm assuming?
I've got no clue

I just need to last a few months and then I think I can just use my university loans to cover accom for the next 3 years or so

Im in the same situation, but i may get kicked out earlier

if you study at college they can provide free housing in UK, then get a part time job 16+ hours a week.

On universal credit you won't manage to afford a place alone

Your best bet is to get a shared flat with 4-6 people and split rent with them

You'll still have your own private room to rot in, and you can even steal their food sometimes

the method is to have a whole group all rent out those ultra poverty flats with communal bathrooms and kitchens so you dont share it with randons

@Node @Glorious King @imontheloose @Jason Voorhees
Leave and never contact them after that. And I mean never. If you one day have a family never allow them to communicate with any of you. Let them get old and die without ever saying a word to them again. And if they ever end up leaving anything for you throw it in a dumpster and give every cent away. Take nothing.

This is what I would do if my parents did that to me. I would leave their house but never see them again. I would let them get old and die without ever saying a word. Just fucking die.

Good luck, you've still got 2 years though, try and develop a skill that you can use online, programming, video editing, content creation, ads, etc. can all get you disgusting amounts of money if you do it right

I never understood the point of kicking your children to curb the second they turn 18. What kind of logic is this? It might have worked in 1950s or something but in this economy it is impossible to make ends meet doing part time jobs or whatever. The only reason I'm in this position is because my parents supported me and saw me through my premature years in college until I was able to make my own money. Even now when I make good money I live with my parents. I'm planning to leave the nest soon this year or start of next year but they still tell me I should stay and if there's any problem my room will always be there for me. Your parents should ashamed of themselves tbh. Why give birth if you can't afford to give a child a good life?

u forgetting that kids be finding part time jobs since they 14

which was a shocker, but in aus when i learnt that most of my batchmates were working since they're 15

it kinda became a norm
