My parents both have long philtrum but mine is short

I was looking at my parents to day and realised that they both have long philtrums. Their philtrum to chin ratio is legit about 1:1. However, mine is about 1:3. I have a much shorter philtrum

How does this work? Am I adopted or some shit.
