How do I explain to them that I really need it despite not being recessed enough to nearly die everytime I sleep

Does it matter or do you want them to pay for it? My father will let me use the insurance his work gives if I can get diagnosed with sleep apnea but he doesn't want me to get it to cope with his genes

I am kinda financially depend on them so yea it does matter. Even though I told them I will get it no matter what
