My parents telling me that I‘m „attractive“ feels like a spit in my face at this point.

I know they‘re my parents and everything.
Every parent finds their children special and „beautiful“.
Where do you think the saying „a face only a mother could love“ comes from?
There‘s no problem in them acting nice and trying to cheer me up.
I‘m very thankful for that.
But at this point these compliments feel exaggerated.
Their unconditional love for me unknowingly blinds my ugliness for them.
They cherry pick a few halos such as wavy thick hair or long curved eyelash.
But then forgot that for every halo, there are double as much failos that drag my conventional attractiveness down by very much.
Like a recessed lower third or a big forehead.
They‘re also unknowingly giving looksminning advice.
Such as to not let my hair grow out (to cover my subhuman forehead) or to keep my current job andalways wake up for the early shifts. (5am)
But that‘s a different kind of problem.

Yeah I have sleep apnea and other issues, tmjd and nasal breathing.
And if nothing helps with them I‘ll probably get genio in turkey then for like ~2500 bucks.

I can‘t.
I legimately look like a 12 year old, just with stubble and unclear skin.
If I atleast had natural clear skin or a decent lower third I could prettyboymax.

But they admitted me to unironically jewish orthodontist.
Funnily I‘m not the only teen who came out recessed after his teeth extraction and braces treatment.
Last time I went to him he said my bite is „perfect“ and I should just do jaw stretching exercises for my jaw popping and sleep apnea. Jfl
