I graduated recently and have no idea what I'm gonna do next. I'm rotting at home for a few months first.

My parents want me to stop rotting and will pay for me to go on holiday. Either a normal holiday or one of those ones where you go on some volunteering scheme, to get me some experience, as I currently have 0.

Anyway, I cba. Idk what to do by myself on a normal holiday and, as for the volunteering shit, it seems like something for irritating pretentious tourists who want to pretend they're doing good. So I'm likely to end up just staying at home again until September or whenever I'm forced to get a job. Last time I went abroad was 2019 when I used to go every year with family before

Ask them to pay for you to travel Europe on the "grand tour"🇪🇺

Rich young men who just graduated from school centuries ago did it 📚

They would taste fine wine, read literature, bask in the vast history and culture during the day and spend their evenings rawdogging local ladies of the night:aheago:

Yeah, I have one friend I asked but he says he can't until end of august
you'll just be lonely then
probably the most stimulating part of the holiday will be sending field reports in here jfl

I like nature tho and always dreaming about just being a hermit in Belize or some shit. But when it comes to actually doing anything I can never find the desire

I can never find the desire
same. Feelings kind of die when you spend too long alone. no one insults you and your instinct of aggression wears out
no one says anything funny and your instinct of humour dies out etc

I suspect a bunch of us older folks would have read about this, just that we lack time/money. Mostly lack money.
I'm sure @Chinacurry has as well

yeah but not really. Africa and LatAm can be missed surely.
