When cold approaching a complete stranger like at the grocery store or whatever, I run into three following options:
- She likes me from the initial point of contact and we hit it off (
)
- She responds by hurling abuse at me and treating me like a monster
- Indifference, she responds like a robot and shows no interest (even if she's 'friendly' this is essentially the plot)
So why as a man would I risk (with almost a guarantee) being abused and disparaged by someone in a public setting?
