for starters, he doesnt have the same phenotype as the average punjabi
second, being punjabi in pakistan has nothing to do with ethnicity but rather geographic location or culture. you can literally send a black guy or a chinese guy to punjab and he will be considered punjabi

yeah thats what i said later, also that pakistani punjab isnt based on ancestry but geographical location, anyone who moves there will be considered punjabi regardless of ethnic background. to me zaynbrah looks afghan, if he didnt reveal it already on trm thats what i wouldve guessed.

from what i hear these dna tests are more for whites than they are nonwhites, not sure how true that is.. probably some truth to it. plus our people arent really interested in this type of stuff. pretty sure we would get 90-100% south asian or something which is already to be expected, basically its not as specific for us.

you were saying zaynbrah looks like a pakistani punjabi based on his eye area, didnt you? if not then you can ignore my post but if yes then you can also say that david gandy has a pakistani punjabi eye area since its more common in other ethnic groups than it is white people. difference between pakistani punjab and indian punjab is that in the former you will be considered punjabi if you a) live there, b) speak the language or c) have assimilated, in the latter you are only punjabi if you are ethnically one, if a dravidian moves to indian punjab he wont be considered punjabi, but if the same dravidian moves to pakistani punjab he effectively becomes punjabi because he fits one of the three criteria (which is living there, in his case). pakistani punjab is therefore way too diverse to compare it to any other place in the world because im pretty sure thats the only place in the world you can go from being a total outsider to being considered one of us, with nobody to say they arent one of us because they have a different racial or ethnic background.
