Gonna do a short diet break over the weekend, enjoy me some ginger bread, speculaas, pizza and whatever else I feel like eating and, of course, lots of booze without counting calories. After christmas, I'll get back on my OMAD schedule and try yohimbine, which is in transit already.
It's important to implement diet breaks from time to time to prevent uncontrolled binge eating episodes, reinforce perseverance, improve quality of life and raise metabolic rate temporarily. It shouldn't be done too frequently tho and some people are better off avoiding diet breaks altogether. You can easily cancel out weeks of dieting in just a few days of overeating. The most important part is getting back on track once your diet break is over. Your appetite may be through the roof for a few days, you may experience blood sugar regulation issues, especially if you come from an intermittent fasting approach, but there are effective ways to combat these problems.
What are your plans for Christmas?
