for context: I accidentally dropped water on my desk on Saturday and everything on it (console, monitor and power strip) got at least bit wet and I was shitting my pants cause I thought it wouldn't work anymore.
Now 36h has passed (I let it air dry) and I reconnected everything and it works fine. It could've been the worse day of my life but fortunately now I can rot on video games again

You could've gave it 48 hours but should be fine,just check for corrosion.If not plugged into electrical source almost anything electrical can dry.

it wasn't plugged when i dropped water and only a few drops went on the console, i don't even know if it went in tbh
most of the water just went on the desk and on the cables
now i've been playing for like 30min and had no issues so i think im fine
+ i have my ps4 since 2015 so even if it doesn't work anymore...i mean it did its job
