My Refrigerator Has Started Acting Suspicious

I didn't want to make this thread because the evidence is still developing, but I can no longer ignore the pattern. For the last two weeks, every time I open my refrigerator looking for something specific, it mysteriously disappears. Then the moment I give up and close the door, I remember exactly where it was. Yesterday I spent five minutes looking for a bottle that was directly in front of me. Don't tell me I "missed it." I have ruled that out completely. My current theory is that the refrigerator temporarily relocates objects whenever it detects my presence. Some of you will call this paranoia. I call it observation. The refrigerator knows that I'm onto it now, so if anything happens to me, check the vegetable drawer first
