In my specific case my occlusion is good but my jaw needs to be rotated upward and forward my lip is a tiny bit set back and chin isnt projected enough. doctor wants to remove my wisdom teeth and incisors he said it’s my specific case when talking about bsso genioplasty lefort because my bite is good he wants to bring my teeth back first then push my jaw forward in surgery. What’s ur thoughts on that lmk should I do it or it will fuck me over

Don’t remove teeth unless they need removing. You will become even more recessed than you are now.

That’s what I’m thinking he said I have to remove wisdom teeth and incisors cuz he will move my teeth back then cut my jaw and bring my jaw forward but idk

Just be careful because most surgeons aren’t “blackpilled” so they won’t give you the aesthetics you’re looking for, they will just try to give you the most average look possible

I told him I wanted more chin and lip projection he said I will get that but idk he said he will ccw rotate my jaw

He said my specific case my bite is good already but my jaw isn’t in a desired position I can’t explain it it’s werid I have to remove my teeth and then push my lower jaw forward to align with my teeth it’s weird I’ll make a diagram when I get home and show u

this isnt my xray but he will remove my 2 lower incisors and all wisdom teeth which will push my jaw back with my braces aswell in preparation then he will cut my jaw and move my whole jaw forward and ccw rotate it add a genioplasty if I still need it what do u think

yeah u need major ccv rotation but he needs to do bimaxillary advancement aswell
