You don't need a corticosteroid that strong just to shrink your nose. Hydrocortisone works just fine and won't give you any side effects, sadly I can't say the same for betamethasone

Sides are less likely to be severe on the nose as anywhere else but that doesn't mean they are non-existent. Apparently betamethasone is 100-600x stronger than HC depending on it's concentration, so personally I'd stay away from it.

I think it thinned the skin of the nose too much, leaving it sensitive and conducive to acne, yea like clogged pores, inflamed
