He was watching the news on Ukraine and after watching some of the sensationalist propaganda on TV he started ranting about how evil Russia is for bombing Ukraine. I was sitting nearby on my laptop (am right now, actually) and casually commented that the USA/NATO didn't really have any business criticizing other countries for bombings/invasions.

A paraphrased version of his response: "NATO/West has never invaded anybody to take their country over"

It horrifies me that most of the idiots actually are this ignorant and that my dad isn't just some outlier.
