My sense of time is completely broken

It just came to me that November is practically over.. It's insane, i feel like it just started. The entire no-fap posts, new month posts, ETC. feels like they were just yesterday. Now it's december and everyone is already in the christmas spirit while im living day to day

I'm 18 in 2 days, and yet i still feel like i just turned 17. I also found out recently that i've been in my current relationship for around 5 months now, and i literally couldn't believe it untill i checked the calendar - i was 100% sure it hasn't been more than 2 months

Maybe i need to start being a productivecel so days actually feel like days..

To think that i soon finish education and need to start looking for jobs and shit.. while i still feel like a teenager playing games every day.

I'm extremely lost in time nowadays.

The only way it can be worth it is when you have certain circumstances and contexts aligned that make your quality of life easier (what the vast majority of the population does not have)

If you don't have them (like the vast majority of the population), you will work your whole life to hope to get to the point where you have them (which is not even guaranteed to happen. You will most likely let your child/children continue where you started), while coping along the way in various ways (many play video games, others become super fans of a football team, others do drugs, others consume alcohol, or a combination of them)..

..but that will only lead to a miserable life, where the good moments will be fewer and fewer as the years go by, and the things that will remain that make you feel good will be when you sleep, when you shower, when you have sex/love, when you eat something sweet, etc. and these will decrease in frequency and intensity..

I completely agree, I still remember in 2020 asking my teacher on monday "is it true schools will be locking down?" hopeful we will be having a free holiday, then on thursday the lockdown being anounced
it genuinely feels like 2 years ago, not 5
the fact that it'll be 2026 in a MONTH is absolutely abysmal, literally everyone you ask will feel the same way. IT FEELS LIKE 5 WASTED YEARS.
Let's not try to waste the next 5.

I feel identical, it's like my 17th birthday was 2 months ago when in reality 2 months from now I'll be 18
