everytime i try to style my hair in a different way i realise how subhuman my side profile looks and It gives me depression

it is not photogenic side profile but I have seen ur front I think if that was you and you do look good.
side profile is not very important, when you talk to a girl you talk from the front. a girl wont see a bad side profile and think "ewww he's ugly" if she thinks the front is good

My younger sibling has the same problem as me but had 2 teeth extracted + braces now, meanwhile my older siblings have far better forwardgrowth because they didn't grow up with cats in their home which blocked their noses.

aren't you all scared of surgeries, I swear everytime i see a video of bimax I get even more depressed because i don't wanna undergo that but at the same time i don't wanna my side profile anymore

Yeah I watched soem videos and it seems pretty scary, but at the same time - what is the option? Have breathing issues and be worse looking for the rest of your life?

I was overexaggerating, over for him btw, idk how you can be that downgrown. But I also have a visible ramus but my mandible is downgrown so my gonial angle is around like 140° maybe idk, never measured, my ramus is like 4 cm on both sides. My jaw is also sort of narrow but it's gained mass throughout the years.

It's weird because I calculated my midface and it was a 1, it's not long but not compact, so IDK how I would look if I wasn't downgrown, could this be because of Genetics and not my fault? Because my midface is 1-1 and my nose isn't hooked(though it has a slight dorsal hump)

If you were to get jaw surgery i think they would only advance your mandible. Bimax is when both jaws are cut and moved.

I view profile as kind of a luxury tbh. Having a very good one is mostly reserved for a very few. Most people have an average one, even those with good forward growth.

I’m in the same boat as you, my profile is my worst trait, that’s the case for a lot of ppl in the forum i feel like (you can check my post about braces if you want to see a drawing of it).

That being said, your profile is not subhuman level, not even close. it’s a tiny bit below average, but it’s not a big deal. Imo chin projection is overrated and jaw recession is much worse. Your mandible is not super recessed, so don’t worry.

To gain your confidence back: When you’re in a situation where people view you from the side a lot (classroom, line, etc), you can cover your chin with your hand from time to time, I do this a lot and it’s not considered weird unless you go overboard.
