I view profile as kind of a luxury tbh. Having a very good one is mostly reserved for a very few. Most people have an average one, even those with good forward growth.

I’m in the same boat as you, my profile is my worst trait, that’s the case for a lot of ppl in the forum i feel like (you can check my post about braces if you want to see a drawing of it).

That being said, your profile is not subhuman level, not even close. it’s a tiny bit below average, but it’s not a big deal. Imo chin projection is overrated and jaw recession is much worse. Your mandible is not super recessed, so don’t worry.

To gain your confidence back: When you’re in a situation where people view you from the side a lot (classroom, line, etc), you can cover your chin with your hand from time to time, I do this a lot and it’s not considered weird unless you go overboard.

if by downgrown you mean your jaw grew back and down more than it should have during development, then yes, you are downgrown. But plenty of people look insane and are downgrown: christian bale, jon kortajarena, bar refaeli. I’d even argue that evangeline lilly is slightly downgrown by forum standards, and she’s one of my fav stacies.
