Hi fellas. I've been trying to get this jaw surgery forever and I've finally got a draft of a plan from a surgeon. They've decided to go le fort 1 with facial implants. My miface is very recessed, messes with my voice and breathing. and obviously appearance.

they gave me a more conservative movement plan, then one that better addressed aesthetics and all. Obviously I completely ignored the conservative one 🤣 It seems they dont think I need jaw implants, and went for genio to fix some chin asymmetry. This design they only included cheekbone implants, and I'm gunna see if they'll make them a little bigger. cheekbones are by far my favorite facial feature and I've never had an ounce of them myself 🤦🏼

Here's photos of the movements:

So the important thing here is the movements I think. A lot else can come further down the road, but the up front issue is the structure, which these movements will do their best to correct. I'm expecting people to suggest rhino and paranasal implants, which I do want, but I think that will all be done in a second trip a year or so after this one. same with a face lift, and possible chin tuck. Ready to hear any valuable inputs and roasts; I'll be having a virtual meeting with the designer and surgeon to review this some time next week.

Can you post a pic of your side profile ?
Based on the front profile, I think both your jaw & chin are fine, and therefore I can't really understand the need to do a BSSO + a Lefort 1. By the way, the morphs don't show any genioplasty (chin osteotomy).

To my eye, and based on the front profile pics that you have provided, I think that the most beneficial procedures from an aesthetic standpoint would be :

1) rhinoplasty ; you have a very fleshy, wide nose. You would probably need an alar base reduction, and a tip & bridge refinement.

2) lower eyelid retraction and/or canthopexy to correct the lower eyelid shape and achieve a more compact eye shape.

3) fat graft for the under eye to reinforce the result of a LER/cantho, and also to fill the pronounced tear through.

4) lip lift or filler to correct the upper lip's lack of height and the long philtrum.

Morph showing approximately the impact of these 4 procedures :

i was doing a tricep pose here but i cropped it for my face. u can see the upper jaws pretty recessed, kinda banana shaped face from the side overall.

chin has a 7.5mm deviation to the side, u can see it pretty clearly in the scans. maybe other people dont notice it in person but i definitely do. bothers the hell out of me

good call. last draft i told them to straighten the chin and they said theyd try one way with genio and one with implants. guess they did neither 🤣 i'll bring that up in the meeting. altho it looks like the reduced the asymmetry down to about a third

i definitely want it, but on this trip the surgeon said we cant push the time under anesthesia too long as im already having a lot done. so i'll likely do this in a year

i kinda like the lower eyelids in the before of your morph. maybe the after is more looksmax psl or whatever, but id prefer mine. certainly wouldnt pay and undergo an operation for that one. just preference i guess

definitely a huge improvement there. im hoping the maxilla movements add some support there. if not, i'll look into this in the second trip. do you see the cheek implants he planned? it looks like the added infra support may do a bit of this correction. not sure

i definitely have been wanting the lip lift. havent ever been able to smile with my teeth. i'll see how much of them show after this first operation then base the mm's for the lift off that.

thanks for all the time u put into this response
