My teeth problem. Yes braces or no braces?

So, I have a overbite and I dont think its really extreme but Im worried that braces will ruin my face I heard that braces actually help you ascend. I also insterted photos of those who want to recommend what I can do or what type of braces to get. Thank you for Answering my question!
