As you may know, i always said that its gonna be easy fight for izzy. But why?
Izzy is best stricker in mma rn, he switched to mma as one of the best kickboxers in the world. No one can match him in striking. If you add his reach advantage over costa, it was impossible for paulo to win with izzy. People say about paulos presure but tbh, there was no presure on izzy in that fight. Only way he could win in standup is by rushing and using his size advantage but he was just standing there like a punching bag.
If paulo was good wrestler, fight could have look diffrently. Hes bigger and way stronger than izzy, but adesanya has great takedown defence and paulos wrestling is not that good. Wrestling would go well with paulos ability to cut insane amount of weight but hes brazilian and if youre into mma, you know that theres no wrestling in brazil.
