It is quite striking how being labeled a loser in elementary and middle school felt like the ultimate stab to the throat.
Today, being called a loser is somehow ordinary, yet it still hurts; particularly as an adult with responsibilities.
I am expected to maintain that muh GPA, earn money, stay happy, and behave like a grown up, while I feel like a child in an adult's frame. Ah, here comes the sun to reap my soul; I must go now and face the day with a smile on my face whilst attempting not to rope.
I see the sun coming up slowly but surely, perhaps a miracle could occur today. Maybe I will be hit by a semi-truck on the way to school or perhaps I’ll skip yet another day, and persist through my mothers torture as she watches her first born son fall into a further deeper madness and cry as she realizes my death is coming soon.
