So I decided recently to stop with therapy. I’ve been going since 2022, and to be honest, it helps you understand yourself better, but when it comes to solving problems, it’s all up to you. I have overcome many struggles, from beating my drug addiction to getting out of severe depression, and so on. I feel like you can’t fully rely on therapy to fix everything for you. You have to put in the work and solve your problems yourself. Therapy is more of an assisting tool, and it also only works if you are willing to put in the work.
Now obviously, the quality of therapy varies based on the therapist. If you have a shit therapist, yeah, gg, you’re not getting anything of value out of that. But if you manage to get a therapist who actually does what they do with passion, it can be a great addition to your quality of life and mental stability.
I’m stopping now because I have no use for it anymore. I know what I’m doing and what I need to do to get where I want to go. I’m leaning more on Allah and my family, and using the experience I have accumulated along the way.
