Long story short:
Stay in the South zone not only because it's safe but the rest of the city has nothing interesting in terms of party or women
The girls in the South neighborhoods are white, even if you're not interested in white girls going to other neighborhoods to party (i.e. Lapa neighborhood) is not worth it, the ethnic women are low quality and primitive. The ethnic foids you'll find sometimes in South neighborhoods are higher quality.
Some part of the beaches are kind divided for one public, there's a part for families and old people, a part for the incredible LGBT community (shout-out to the gay fags
) and parts for young attractive people.
Everything is expensive as expected, Brazilian capitals are not cheap like other underdeveloped places in the world like southeast Asia.
