My uncle moved to Chicago in the late 90s and used to make $40K a year with 0 skills at 20 by just working 3 jobs in warehouse and retail. He also was able to find cheap accommodation in a shared apartment with other immigrants in Albany Park. A sub-urb in Chicago. He also cooked at home and was extremely frugal. He joined a MNC after he graduated in CS and immediately started making 6 figures. He rose throught the corporate ladder made a few smart investments in a few pre-IPO companies, index funds and finally became a millionaire at 40 and is now retired with a large passive income, lives in a luxury house in a posh area and his wealth is only growing now. I swear the USA is overpowered for moneymaxxing.
