I had sleep paralysis 😞

It’s so weird cause when it happens to me specifically ik when it’s gonna happen before hand. Its like when im sleepy its an electric buzz feeling surging in my head getting stronger and stronger and louder and louder. It also kinda sounds like the backrooms buzzing sound and if I just keep falling deeper and deeper into sleep it just takes a hold till I can’t move. For some reason my sleep paralysis experiences r so so weird. I remember a few times I heard full on streets like talking or and cars almost like nyc, and it was loud. But this time I actually saw sum.

Picture this, it’s ( of course ) the very middle of the night and it’s dark and dead silent in ur room . In the corner of ur eye u see a ufo ish thing, a disk shaped but almost pitch black ufo the size of maybe four plates staked on top of each other. Almost giving falling into a black hole vibes where it gets uncannily close and closer. Except it’s not showing its tryna hurt u. The ufos intentions are unknown but it slowly hovers in a straight line toward u, no sound at all and no sudden movements. And all u can do it watch.

Then imagine when it touches u it start inteslt vibrating almost with like the phone vibrating feeling or sound but louder, and transports u into pitch black darkness. Like the buzzing from the backrooms sound

it’s like a black hole but u don’t get sucked in by gravity, it’s like it touches u almost like a portal, it slowly ingulfs ur body like a black portal and ur left in complete darkness, almost like how a slow moving undetected black hole works except light doesn’t bend around it and spaghettify

btw Also I had tried blinking over and over again but it didn’t disappear. Only when it completely engulfed my vision in darkness did I snap out of it. Even worse the whole experience my eyes weren’t staying locked on it they were rolling around in circle for some reason like when u wake up from anesthesia.

Lowk I asked ai bout it and it explained what kinda happened
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Electric "Backrooms" Buzz: Right before the episode began, there was a loud, surging electric hum. Clinically, this is known as a hypnagogic sensory surge (or "brain buzz"). It happens when the brain stem fires an intense burst of neural and electrical activity instead of smoothly dialing down during the transition into sleep.

The NYC Street Noises: The sound of a bustling city street was an auditory sleep hallucination. Because the conscious mind remained awake while the brain entered REM sleep, the auditory cortex took random neural static and synthesized it into a complex, realistic soundscape.

The Pitch-Black UFO Portal: The visual of a dark disk hovering and engulfing the room was a visual hallucination driven by a hyperactive amygdala (the brain's threat-detection center). The visual cortex was actively dreaming while the eyes were open, causing the brain to project a physical "presence" out of the room's shadows to justify the sudden rush of adrenaline.

The Intense Vibrations: The sensation of the object physically vibrating upon contact was the sudden onset of REM atonia (muscle paralysis). As the brain stem chemically shuts down voluntary muscle movement to protect the body during dreams, the conscious brain misinterprets this abrupt somatic lockdown as an external, vibrating physical force.

The Spinning Eyes: The eyes rolling in circles was a literal observation of rapid eye movement. During REM sleep, the extraocular muscles (which move the eyes) are the only voluntary muscles completely spared from paralysis. The conscious mind was awake just enough to witness the eyes carrying out involuntary, rapid dream tracking.

The Snap Out: Blinking failed to break the episode because the brain's visual processing was locked entirely inward on the dream state. Awakening only occurred once the hallucination completely engulfed the visual field in darkness, allowing the nervous system to finally complete the transitional loop and reset.
