Since there wasn't much information about it I decided to pull the trigger and make my own "personalised skincare"
I bought the PRP base serum from the brand VI and decided to make some and make an ekstra one with PRF (without anticoagulant in tube for ability to get a richer density of platelets, growth factors and fibrin) to see if it would also keep a decent consistency and its properties in the serum
Video to how I made it:
I do realise for most people it's not viable to make it yourself, but if you ask for ekstra tube or two of blood when getting a vampire facial and buy the cream yourself I think it's doable - if not you can look into the brand SoMe but that gets extremely expensive (900 euros for the serum inclusive blood taking)
So far the serum seems pretty good after a vampire facial for optimal amount of PRP absorbsion, but currently only on day 2 of testing

Here's a nice study worthy of a mention:
According to the study:
Results from study:
90 day stability for the PRP in a preservative serum was achieved with refrigeration at 4 degrees Celsius. Facial skin biopsy histologic findings included improved rete peg architecture. Immunohistochemical analysis showed upregulation for collagen type I with qPCR data demonstrating concomitant upregulation of mRNA for collagen after 8 weeks of topical PRP use.
- worthy quote from study: "Results demonstrated a 2.34-fold increase in collagen gene upregulation in the PRP treatment serum vs. control serum for collagen type I"
Conclusion:
These pilot study findings may indicate value for topical PRP in facial rejuvenation.
Enjoy!
