The main argument against is "no studies/evidence" (But there is no conclusive proof it's not possible)

Why the fuck would the eye industry ever do a study that literally collapses itself

Even if they did they would never publish the results if it showed it's possible

But they would if it showed it's impossible

Therefore the lack of conclusive evidence it's impossible means the chance it's possible is larger

I have -1.5 diopter prescription and want to believe this, however I do not think it is possible. Someone somewhere would have proved it's possibile by now. The best we have are youtube comments saying they have improved their vision with the Bates method.

You should try looking at something far away for atleast an 1 hour everyday, it will help. You can find youtube videos regarding it, just try to stop wearing glasses for a extended period of time as well.

I do not wear glasses unless driving or foraging for mushrooms in the forest. I do believe some small improvments are possible, I notice when I am not using my phone for a long time and when I am in nature my vision gets better. However the improvement is small and temporary and reversible. I have been up to three months without a phone in the mountains and have seen mild improvement, but its ceiling is low and its erased when I go back to staring at a screen.

As i said if you continue to perform the exercise i suggested before your vision will improve a lot, while the effects are temporary, if you practice it for long enough it will help improve your vision in the longer run.

what happens is that kids spend too much time on screens and indoors which leads to pseudomyopia, then they start wearing lenses which causes real myopia. Many people are better off going outside and looking in a distance

Hypermetropia yes. Myopia no

Sure but this applies to a tonne of fields, what reason do you have for believing it is possible

Take a look at End Myopia / Jake Steiner and Myopia Is Mental channel on youtube.

I have literally tested out the methods and have seen positive improvements however, you need to keep doing it consistently. And doing that when you work on the computer a lot is really hard.

Yes im not claiming its easy im making a logical thinking experiment that points to it being reversible being more likely than not
