hello everyone, i'm going to properly get engaged within the community now. i've been really busy with exams but i'm finally done. i just graduated highschool on friday and will be pursuing a degree in neuroscience. if anyone needs help with anything related to cosmetics, how the body functions like hormonal health (for example, peptide vs steroid hormones and how they work naturally), craniofacial stuff, money, or style, feel free to reach out on discord (376386001) anyways, i'll start by introducing myself and sharing a craniofacial depth analysis.
These pictures were taken one year and one month apart between the ages of 17 and 18. I used to weigh 131 lbs, and now I’m 156 lbs at around 20% body fat. I also grew from 5'6 to 5'10, which I’m really grateful for considering my parents are 4'9 and 5'3.
I’ll break down exactly what I did if anyone replies to this thread, but overall, it was just sticking to the basics.
IN DEPTH
1. Splanchocranium,
>Developed maxillomandibular complex w good MMPA and MnP. Compact viscerocranium with good MxP angle. Developed maxillomalar complex with medium set malars and an suboptimal orbital floor
2. Neurocranium,
>narrow bitemporal width with lack of orbital volume. Reccessed frontal bone/anteface
This was an analysis done by one of my friends, who is a soon-to-be surgeon specializing in craniofacial anatomy. (If you want to get an analysis message me on discord)
It basically means that my midface and jaw (the splanchocranium) are well-developed. My cheekbone and jaw structure are good—I have a strong jawline and decent cheek projection. However, the area under my eyes (the orbital floor) could be better supported.
As for my neurocranium (the forehead and skull), the sides of my head (temples) are narrow, which makes my eyes sit a bit deeper. My forehead and upper face are also slightly recessed. There’s no surgery or fix for the frontal bone, so there isn’t really anything I can do about that.
