So from personal experience I would say that people sleeping on their back for symmetrical face is just coping fr. I’ve been sleeping on my side my whole life since I was young and recently got a xray and my face sides were ideal (symmetrical).

I think as long as you don’t mouth breathe there should be no problem with your symmetry.

Am I wrong?

Maybe you have a solid facial structure that prevents any major asymmetry, or maybe you're just a larping old man wandering here

I personally grew up sleeping on my right side, and i have a slightly noticable mandibular asymmetry, the side that i slept on is a bit smaller than the other

Now I’ll sound like an unc but haven’t really understood what larping means xD

Have no fucking idea what anecdotal evidence is bro, and the title is ironic bruh😭

I wish this was true, but as someone who sleeps on one side of my face (even worse than side), I think it messes up my symmetry :feelscry:

It can be temporary swelling as well from the water buildup to “save” your face from getting hurt it’s a human defense mechanism xD
