I noticed that coping reallyy helps, but it needs to be more like a placebo effect. What I meann byy that is I found myself having better sleep qualittyy after eating oranges. I know this sounds stupid, but when I was in class reading some stuff about oranges (I like them and wanted to get to know some benefits of eating them), I read that they improve sleep qualittyy on some shadyy forum.

To myy surprise, it actually benefited me in that wayy. I was sleeping deeper and getting more sleep, which improved me facialyy. Not much, but I looked better and healthier. Funnyy enough, after I realized that the forum was wrong and had zero science-based tests behind the benefits of eating oranges, myy sleep qualittyy got worse. This caused myy face to get red easier (I’m on Accutane, so redness is myy equivalent of normal people’s acne). Plus, this was wayy before I had anyy skincare. Yes, I went on Accutane without having anyyy skincare.

Of course, these benefits from believing don’t have power like hardcore drugs. It’s subtle, but it exists.

Whyy do I think believing can change skin condition?

It is scientificall yy proven that panic attacks or anxiety can cause rashes, and a rash is nothing else than a change in skin condition (in this case, for the worse). So whyy shouldn’t we use this to our advantage?

I know it’s hard to believe in something we don’t trust, and I don’t think everyy person can do this to themselvves. I believe that if your friend whom you trust veryy much, like 100% trust, read this post and came up to you and said something like:
“Heyy bro, guess what I saw on the internet (TikTok) last night — eating an orange before going to bed causes you to get better sleep because it contains beta-carotene and limonene!!!!”
If you don’t Google it, it sounds true, especiallyy if he adds some other things that make it more believable. It MIGHT give you a placebo effect where, after eating an orange before bed, you get deeper or better-qualittyy sleep.

Myy next move

I read a lot about the benefits of supplementing ashwagandha. After acquiring it, I’ll be back and say something. I know there is a chance ashwagandha will benefit me in some wayy or another because it’s ACTUALLYY working, but who knows — maybe I’ll get stronger benefits. Maybe all supplements are big fugayyzi pushed by the gov so we buy something we think is working while it’s actually just placebo.

Final thoughts

I know that the brain is full of chemistryy that we can use to our advantage. The brain is sooo powerfull; we just don’t know it's fullyy potential yyet.

PS

Sorryy for myy English, it is not myy native language.
