I doubt we will see heavy automation of many jobs/sectors in the near future. The AI takeover is akin to flying cars imo, its something which people will preach is coming but it will never come. Even braindead jobs would be difficult to fully automate. Humans can adapt to situations which is something robots cannot do. Robots are exceptionally good at repeating extremely specific tasks. We will see an increase in machine assistance in the future but machines will never replace humans completely. Increased automation will create new jobs elsewhere.

If there were ever a point where there was going to be an AI takeover there would be government intervention. If nobody has a job, nobody will be spending money and there would surely be riots.
