The parents are a big deal for real. I was invited by a htn-chadlite to go to a surprise birthday party and the parents were fine letting them drink underage and were fine with the cussing around them and there was hella banter between them. One of my friendds had his girlfriend move in with him during high school and now they're married.

parents also being fine with their kid sleeping over at a friends house even if they don't know the parents or know them well. jfl 20 and never had a sleepover. My parents ruined a big part of my social life.
