None. Some form of hierarchy is necessary to achieve flourishing. Having a society in which the most competent people in general have more power, is more likely to have better outcomes for that society as a whole. Egalitarianism is not achievable anyways. Sure, you can alleviate it to some extent, but inequality is always going to be part of the human condition.

i think its because ppl desire a return to a state in which they were not immersed in a social strata, basically a state of symbolic absence. I believe it may actually be primal to an extent but generally emerges in response to the burdens of individualization common in contemporary societies
