Factorio is the very best for this. The way it just ravishes your afternoon puts you in a trance. You get completely locked in, and time seems to pass by 100% faster, I shit you not. I go on benders every now and then with this game where I manage to play it for 45 hours per week for a month.

It's kind of an high IQ game and the learning curve is a bit steep, but once you get into it you're completely stuck and nothing else in your life matters
