they said they would hire me as a freelancer and sponsor my visa but they hinted that I would have to pay all traveling and other accomidation living costs while there, I would need like maybe 5k-10k in capital first to even accept it I guess,

that is info from 1 agency, I could join others too cus free lancer

but I got the idea that I am a low tier guy, one of many

right now would be the worst time to go cus of lesser gigs and have not enough cash to take the risk right now

Yeah you need a good amount of capital as well as a safety net. Freelance models don't make that much especially in the beginning. It is always important to have connections as well. That is probably the most important thing. I do know some high ranking people in the fashion industry due to my cousin if you want that help. Although she isn't based in Korea but in the US.
