it downregulates D1-like dopamine receptors in areas like the nucleus accumbens (NAc, part of the reward pathway) and caudate putamen.

D2-like receptors show mixed effects, upregulation in regions like caudate putamen or VTA iirc
downregulation in nac shell
It can also increase dopamine transporter density which can cause it to clear out faster

it does, but at the same time the effects stop as soon as it leaves your body thats why you should be using npp towards the end of your cycle thanks to the short ester
