Marwar was never able to consolidate it's power. It always remained an irrelevant kingdom in the north west. It remained under The direct Mughal control until Udai Singh was restored to the throne as a vassal and given thr title. After that the Kingdom was
overrun by the Maratha hordes. The marwari never really held much power, even in its peak its power was only limited to a few cities outside of Jodhpur that's it.
