Narcissism is actually a defense mechanism from being considered low status

This isn’t usually the case but it’s relatively common with incels and low status people.

Narcissism can be developed soley through negative experiences. Your brain will try to make you think you are better at everything so
you can avoid the damage of low self esteem.

Negative reinforcement and attacks on your psyche damage your immune system.

You can’t assume every narc is an asshole, people throw the word narc like it means they’re an asshole.

I thought everyone was preaching self love but once someone loved themselves they’re a narc? I don’t mean to get personal I’m just pointing out contradictions.

I'm a narcissist. Just make sure the attention you're getting is positive and don't belittle others to stroke your ego. That's it. We can shape our narcissism to make it fruitful and even helpful to people around us.
