Dont know about the other nordic countries but Bureucracy in Sweden is atleast as bad as in the Balkans and the politicians in Sweden are very corrupt

Americans and Britishers are literally wishing the exact same thing (which is why I have no idea why they always end up choosing Japan tbh)

Japan is definitely more futuristic, but almost to the point where everything is alienating: A lot of hotels even are self-check-in now, so you can literally have an entire day in Tokyo, an overpopulated metropolis of +20 million, without ever coming into contact with another human soul. I like Japan, but the best places are far from Roppongi or Doutonbori.


Otherwise, Singapore is a soulless shopping mall city only notable for its SPG women and Europe is dying slowly: I have no idea how one can visit a place like Belfast Ireland or Athens Greece and comment on how 'futuristic' it is (Perhaps Germany and Sweden are like this, most of Europe is not, and more akin to Croatia or Italy).

If you can deal with the high crime and rampant African poverty, than South Africa is fucking amazing and Cape Town is probably the best city in the world to be a young, energetic person
