Narrow Mouth Width and Being Fat Growing up

Everytime I see people’s transformations online, the ones that have a narrower lip width always tend to have been fat obese kids growing up

I myself am an example of this phenomenon

Is there any correlation between the two that’s proven? Would be interesting to see why that tends to be the case

Lip width is only weakly correlated with maxilla width. If anything it’s one of the more purely genetic traits. More so than bone structure.

I grew up skinny and im a nose to lip widthcel. I don't think theres any correlation tbh

I have a pretty good maxilla and bones by my lips are still narrow/almost average, it throws off my harmony by a lot but at least I have full lips with a Cupid’s bow I guess
