Nationalism is essentially a slave form of tribalism
When men used to be in tribes, in those tribes where usually people who you knew close and were your family. And you all lived together and hunted together.
Nationalism: Defending a land with imaginary lines known as borders. In some cases putting your life on the line aswell for that piece of land. Whereas in the old times war meant fighting for your home. Instead of going to a pointless war, dying for no reason. Also it just doesn't make sense at all. You are literally defending a country filled with a shit ton of people who don't gaf about you (including the government)
Wheras as I said in tribalism you are defending people who you have known your entire life.
Didn't really express my thoughts on this too well. But yeah I find nationalism and being interested in politics to be slave behaviour. Fighting a losing game
