I tend to think about this, time to time when it comes to the topic of nationalism. I know the end, even if I somehow achieve bringing back my homeland into a greater state than its current self, I will still remain as an eternal outcast of the very empire I made or at least helped rise. Nationalism is for the people who are still naive, who still linger in thoughts of creating a family. I am a technocrat, I only really want my country for power and balance. Nothing more, I care more about the way my map looks because it is me, cogito ergo sum, It is not longer I think therefore I am, I can actually think and it will BE. What I want, What will be and what was, is due to me. That is what matters, what I can make to keep my sanity spinning until I finally perish.
