native english speakers, can you understand the lyrics of songs easily without subtitles?

Now i can understand almost all of the words speaken in a Wired, Business Insider videos etc.

But i still suck at song lyrics, especially Kanye's. How good are you natives?

Some english lyrics don't even make any fucking sense when you read them.

I don't listen to lyrics whatsoever
I just listen to the sound, tonation, emotion in the lyrics. I never consciously know what they talk about.
