I love how the discussion is always whether nature or nurture is the most important factor in determining someone's life outcomes
Nature (genetics)
Nurture (upbringing/environment).
Most people who don't understand the BP think that it is just about genetics - but no - it is about everything that is LUCK determined or given to you at birth.

Familypill is a subsection of blackpill, Wealthpill, Traumapill etc etc all these things contribute to ways that you are socialised and have downstream effects on your neurotypicality etc.

It is all out of your control.

The only peculiarity here is that Nurture IS in somebody's control - or a group of people's - your parents, teachers, friends etc.

All you can do for your kids if you manage to reproduce is to make the nurture as good as possible. But it is never in the kids control.

"Oh bro but ACCOUNTABILITY - you are going to be ACCOUNTABLE" - no accountability for your face bro. Be outwardly accountable for your own personal choices but not for your overall life outcomes that were predetermined by upbringing/DNA.

BP is obvious to us.
Nature vs Nurture excluding the consequences of our choices (because it doesn't really exist in youth) being a form of BP that lies in plain sight in every philosophy classroom is less obvious.

The nurture thing is literally a blackpill in in of itself. The fact that you can’t choose your parents and growing environment literally proves this.
